  • Public safety and public spaces

All San Franciscans deserve access to safe, vibrant public spaces, and the ability to live and move freely in our city without fear of crime. Our small businesses face existential threats from theft and vandalism. Our seniors are afraid to cross the street. We need to adequately fund the police, enforce our laws, and hold our public safety departments to account.

  • Excellent public education

As the mother of a small child, I know how important it is to families to have a great public school system. Unfortunately SFUSD faces a daunting budget shortfall. We need to figure out how to invest our precious funds wisely, but still hold our schools accountable. No student should fall behind grade-level in math or reading. Let’s aspire for the best for our kids!

  • Sustainable housing and transportation

Our future depends on being able to keep seniors, young adults, and middle-income families in San Francisco — along with welcoming newcomers. San Francisco will build 82,000 new homes over the next eight years, but imagine what our streets will be like if we add two new cars for all 82,000 homes we will build! We need safer streets and better public transportation options.
